Refund & Cancellation Policy (Outline)
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This document outlines how N4XION plans to handle refunds and cancellations once it launches a paid game server hosting service. It is a planned outline, not a final policy, and every detail below is subject to legal review before N4XION accepts payments.
This policy is a pre-launch outline. Final customer terms will be published and reviewed before N4XION accepts payments.
1. Status of this outline
N4XION has not selected its final infrastructure, has not launched a paid service, and is not accepting payments. The sections below describe a planned approach for the future. They become binding only when the paid service launches and the final terms are published and reviewed.
2. Our planned philosophy
We do not intend to adopt a blanket “no refunds” stance. Our planned approach is fairness: if N4XION fails to deliver the digital service you purchased as described, we intend to make it right. At the same time, some costs are genuinely non-recoverable once a service period has been used or a setup has been completed, and the policy will be honest about those.
3. Planned remedy when N4XION fails to deliver
If N4XION does not deliver the purchased service substantially as described — for example, a server that cannot be provisioned at all, or that does not work as advertised and cannot be fixed within a reasonable time — we plan to offer a remedy. Depending on the situation, that could mean fixing the issue, re-provisioning the service, providing a service credit, or issuing a refund. The intent is that customers should not pay for a service they never received.
4. Planned cancellation and review period
For new purchases, we plan to offer a short cancellation and refund review period covering unused service or failed initial provisioning. If a newly purchased server never worked, or was never used, within that early window, we plan to review the request and, where appropriate, refund the unused portion. The exact length of this window will be published on the final terms before launch.
5. Planned exclusions
To keep the policy honest, some items are expected to be excluded from refunds where this is lawful and clearly disclosed at the time of purchase:
- Consumed service periods — time during which a working server was available for use.
- Completed setup or custom work — provisioning, migrations, or configuration work that has already been carried out.
- Third-party licenses — costs paid to third parties for game or software licenses on your behalf.
- Domain fees — registration or renewal fees for domains, which are typically non-refundable once purchased.
- Abusive or terminated accounts — accounts closed for breaches such as those described in our planned Acceptable Use Policy.
Any exclusion is planned to apply only where permitted by law and disclosed before you pay. Where consumer law grants a stronger right, that right will prevail.
6. Planned service credits for outages
For qualifying service interruptions, we plan to offer service credits under a future Service Level Agreement rather than cash refunds. The conditions, measurement, and credit amounts will be defined in that SLA once infrastructure is selected and tested. N4XION does not yet promise any specific uptime figure or credit amount.
7. How planned refunds would be returned
Where a refund is approved, we plan to return it through the original payment route used for the purchase. N4XION intends to integrate Philippine payment methods such as PayMongo and GCash, quoted in Philippine Pesos (PHP). These payment methods are planned and not yet integrated — no payment system is active today. Actual refund timing will depend on the payment provider once integration is complete.
8. Your consumer rights are preserved
Nothing in this outline is intended to remove or limit rights you have under applicable Philippine law, including the Internet Transactions Act and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) consumer-protection rules. Where the law gives you a stronger remedy than this policy, the law applies.
9. Planned complaint channel
We plan to operate an internal complaint channel for refund and service disputes. Our aim is to acknowledge and work to resolve complaints within seven calendar days of receipt. Consistent with the Internet Transactions Act implementing rules, the internal dispute- resolution process would be treated as exhausted if it is not resolved within seven days, after which you may pursue the external remedies available to you under law. Complaints are planned to be handled through support@n4xion.net.
10. Changes to this outline
This outline may change as N4XION prepares for launch. The final, binding Refund & Cancellation Policy will be published and reviewed before N4XION accepts payments. Questions can be sent to support@n4xion.net.
